OUR APPROACH

OUR MISSION FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

My mission that all of my team have adopted and embraced is following one simple rule "COMMUNITY".

The Des Moffatt Western Community Centre is located in a very busy area of Swindon and the local community are very kind and warm hearted. Our job is to maintain, improve & develop the community centre.

Since taking over from the late Sandra Trott in April 2018 it became clear to me that Sandra and Ann the previous board did an amazing job at keeping the community centre busy and having great relationships with the groups that hire the halls.

Myself and the team want to embrace that standard as well as taking on some new approaches.

My Goal is now to make the community proud of the centre and want to play a part in its future, this includes doing door to door introductions and holding open days for the community to come and see our developments
